We’re Glad You’re Here!

The reason we gather is because Jesus has invited us to come and meet with Him—through music and song, prayer, the preaching of His word, and reaching out to each other. Our passion is to bring people to the Son of God, who restores us to the image of God, so we can live to the glory of God. That image of God resides in each of us, including you. It’s our prayer that you will meet the One who can restore that image through His redeeming love.

If it’s your first time with us please…

Feel free to keep your kids with you or let them check out their age appropriate group here in the building.

Talk to a pastor if you want to pray with someone today. Remember, we also have prayer time here in the auditorium from 10:00–10:25am.

If you would like to know more about meeting Jesus, pick up a “Yes” packet from one of our pastors or at the back table in the auditorium.

Come back so we can get to know you better!

Pastor Rob Anthony

Mexico Mission Update

Thanks to all who have responded to support the Mexico Mission trip. We have had people offer supplies, prayers, money, and opportunities for students to earn additional funds! As a team we are striving to raise $50,000, and we are almost halfway there! Team members have sent out letters requesting prayer and financial support for the trip, and we're hopeful to have the remaining funds collected by the end of the month!

Last week, we distributed brochures inviting people to participate in Mexico Challenges. These challenges are invitations for your family to experience a little more concretely what life in La Purisima is really like! We have more of these brochures available for you at the information table!

Challenge of the week  For one day, fill up a bucket with 3 gallons of water. Have someone in your family carry this bucket 100 yards for every three gallons of water you use! This demonstrates how far the folks in La Purisima have to bring the water they use from wells to their house. The brochure provides guidelines for how much water a family uses on average in the United States. Try having family members rotate carrying the bucket for the water they use in the normal course of a day. Watch how you reduce your water consumption or get very strong arms!  As a reminder, the average La Purisima family uses 5 gallons a day.

Be ready next week to share in writing your family’s experiences with this challenge!

Thanks for your continued prayers and support!

Pastor Jeff Golden

Join the youth group for a refreshing, relaxing evening of communion and praise. We’ll meet at The Gate (church office) where you’ll have a chance to see our new remodel. We opened up the back area and made the front room a little more cozy. We have plenty of room now for everyone to take communion together.
