Riversgate Children's Ministries


Vision

 

''And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.''  Mark 10:16



God has placed a call on Riversgate church to provide a safe, loving environment where children of all ages can learn about the living Word, Jesus, and the written Word, the Bible.  We choose and write age-appropriate curriculum so that kids can leave knowing they are loved by the Lord and by their teachers.  We want parents to feel secure and confident in this as well so that they can take in the Word during service without distraction.

Classrooms

 

The Children's Ministries meet in several classrooms throughout the Multnomah Arts Center during the 10:30am service.  Please see the map below for specific classroom locations.

 

Volunteers

 

Children's Ministries at Riversgate Church can't happen without the help, dedication and willing hearts of our teachers and volunteers!  Our teachers usually teach once a month in one of our 5 different age groups.  All of our curriculum is either chosen or written by our Director of Children's Ministry, Bethany.

Upcoming Events


 

 

Multnomah Village Basketball Camp  FREE

 

August 2 - 6, from 6-8pm each evening. For kids ages 6 - 13! Get ready for a fun week of basketball fundamentals. We rotate through 10 stations each evening to work on shotting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, and team building. On Friday, we have a family BBQ and awards.
