In Our Community
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me...Matthew 25:35
A Compassion Clinic is a church-led medical, dental and support initiative offered free of charge for our local community. This is a practical way for our churches to demonstrate God’s love in unity to our city. This year's clinic was held again at Wilson High School on May 15-16! !
Door to Grace – a Ministry to Young Women
Door to Grace provides daytime services and, if necessary, host homes for youth who are survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Door to Grace seeks to ensure that commercially sexually exploited youth find necessary, vital resources to sustain their progression from surviving to thriving. These resources will be interwoven with our commitment to demonstrate Christ’s love and redemptive healing in our actions while being sensitive to the abuses these youth have experienced in their lives, including spiritual abuses.

Northwest Children's OUtreach
NCO is dedicated to providing clothing and other necessities for children. Two great volunteer opportunities at the warehouse at the NE Buckman Center (located at 335 NE 18th Avenue, Portland) are Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm and Friday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am. On Tuesday evenings, volunteers bundle clothing carepackages for kids. Friday mornings are devoted to sorting donations. Riversgate families (including children age 4+) have found they enjoy working together to help pack items for children. For more info: www.northwestchildrensoutreach.org.
