KUZA is a nonprofit improving the lives of students, families, and communities
in Uganda through higher education and leadership development. Sara Reamy, a member of Riversgate Church since its inception, works with a team of dedicated volunteers and committed Ugandans to impact the next generation of leadership in Uganda. KUZA is a model organization in Uganda that equips outstanding teenagers with the skills they need to transform their country. Leadership development and higher education change the trajectory of individual lives, with positive ripples that are felt immediately in families and communities. Students are excited to become "nation changers".
Ready to join the KUZA family?!
Pray for KUZA. Our fall prayer requests are:
- For students to have good health and they prepare for the stressful "leaving exams" in November. It's a critical time in the students's education, and they feel encouraged by the prayers support.
- For wisdom in the selection for the next cohort of students, that God would lead us to the students best suited for the program.
- For our upcoming Party with a Purpose, October 24th, 2015. This is KUZA's biggest fundraising event of the year, and we're looking forward to connecting with our Portland-based friends to support the life-changing work that's happening in Uganda! Come catch the vision and join us in making a difference! For information on how to attend, email Events@wearekuza.org.
Volunteer with KUZA! The KUZA office is always looking for help with administrative details. We'd love to have you on our team. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get connected.
