Here Are Some Key Dates
On Sunday, December 2nd we will begin our Advent Reading Group. This year we will be reading selected portions of Fleming Rutledge's Advent: The One and Future Coming of Jesus Christ. Many people don't realize that the Christian calendar was designed as a tool for discipleship. Rather than orienting our lives around the seasons, we are to orient our lives around the life of Christ. Advent marks the beginning of the Christian calendar as we wait with great expectation the arrival of our King. You can purchase your copy of the book at Annie Blooms (they should be there by this weekend.) Please email email@example.com if you have any questions.
LADIES CRAFT NIGHT After a marvelous crafting experience at the women’s retreat, we have decided to start a consistent craft evening. We are making ornaments Thursday, November 29th, 7:00 - 9:30 PM at the church. An $8 donation is suggested for supplies. Please RSVP to Stephanie Andrews by Monday, November 26 at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST Join us for our annual breakfast — a chance to gather, unwind, breathe deeply, enjoy beautiful music and worship, meditate on the Word and eat some great food. Saturday, December 1st. To volunteer or for more info, contact Shari Rainka at email@example.com.
